EXTREME COLD WINTER ADVISORY ALERT
As a Hard freeze has been issued for our coverage area, please take action to prevent frozen pipes:
- Set home thermostats above 55 degrees during cold weather
- Find shut off valves for emergencies
- Insulate pipes in unheated areas and all outside pipes and faucets
- Turn off water to outside spigots and drain all water in the line
- Drain in-ground lawn irrigation systems (use your manufacturer instructions)
- Water utilities are responsible for water mains and pipelines that connect to your meter, but not the pipes located on your property. If a pipe bursts on your property, call a plumber immediately for repairs.
- Take in consideration, our crew will be working to maintain the main lines and well sites.
PLEASE do your part by making sure you have a customer cut-off valve, and it is properly working BEFORE THE FREEZE arrives. IF YOUR HOUSEHOLD PIPES BURST, SHUT OFF YOUR MAIN WATER VALVE & CALL A LICENSED PLUMBER IMMEDIATELY.
